The Church of St.Paul in Goa was in progress as an institution of the Holy Faith for training young converts by two priests namely Diogo de Borba and Miguel Vaz who had recognized the Santa Fe confraternity.

The edifice of the church began in November 1541 and got finished on January 25th 1543, the day of Feast of Conversion of St. Paul to whom the church was dedicated.

The church also housed an eminent college and library.

The Church of St Paul was demolished in 1829 by the Government. Only the portico was spared.

institution has received so far.

The first public elucidation of his body after his death took place in the Church of St. Paul.
