The Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary in Goa is the smallest wildlife reserve in Goa and is situated 10 km in the north east of Usagao Tisk village. It is 52km from Panaji and 38km from Margao Nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats at the junction of three Talukas viz. Ponda, Sanguem and Sattari lies the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary has a mini zoo, a deer park, botanical and rose gardens and is a tourist attraction all through the year. Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary can be termed as a jungle resort, hot favorite for school going children and nature lovers. The common animals found in this wildlife sanctuary of Goa are the Gaur and the Sambhar deer. The smallest of the three wildlife sanctuary in Goa, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is just 8 sq. km. in size.
